2Hire a Wedding Planner
Now that you have decided your wedding date, you have a huge time constraint. You cannot plan everything all alone. So, what you can do is hire a professional wedding planner who can plan your special day as you like. Hiring a wedding planner can save you a lot of time. Sit and talk to them. Explain the wedding planner, what all you need in your wedding like, decoration, catering, etc. The main job of a wedding planner is making your vision a reality.
3Finalize a Venue
You have just one month left and booking a venue might be a problem. Usually, wedding venues are booked 2-3 months in advance. Now that you don’t have time, ask your wedding planner to arrange for a venue. Ask your planner to try to negotiate and if possible get some discounts. If you want to book your venue all by yourself, start making phone calls and try to get contacts. You can also ask your relatives or friends who got married to provide you the number of wedding venues. By doing this it can save your lot of time.
4Know Your Budget
As you have very less time, do not add too many elements in your wedding just because you have money. Fix a budget, which you will be spending in one month. Last minute preparations can cost you more so plan according to that. Having a limited budget in your mind will help you spend money wisely. Try not to exceed the limit unless and until it is necessary. After you know your budget inform your wedding planners about it so that they don’t bombard you with a huge bill at the last minute.
5Invite Your Guests
You don’t have much time to invite each and every person you know for your wedding. What you can do is invite those who are very close to you. Find ways to send an invitation as soon as possible. One of the easiest ways is Whats App. Yes! This might be awkward, but you cannot help it. Nowadays everyone uses Whats App. You can create a group and invite whomever you want. Making a phone call to each and everyone in person is not possible. As you don’t have time you have to just find simple solutions to invite all.
6Take Social Media Help
Now that you have very less time, inviting all your guests by going to their home or making phone calls is not possible. What you can do is, you can create a page or a group of Social Media like Facebook. Here you can invite everyone through which the good news about your marriage will also spread. You can also ask your wedding planner to create a wedding website. It will help you to provide all necessary details about your wedding like, venue, place, time, date, the list of events or ceremonies, etc.
7Book a Photographer
The wedding is all about memories and without photographs, there can be no memories. Ask your wedding planner to arrange for a good professional photographer according to your budget. If you are not able to book a photographer, you can take help of your friend. You must be having a friend who is good at clicking the pictures. Ask him to click your special moments. When you don’t have time, you need to adjust. The only thing you remember your special day is by looking back at those photographs and videos. So, make sure you arrange a photographer for sure.
8Shop for Your Wedding
Every girl loves shopping and when it comes to shopping for your wedding you are more excited. Don’t think that last minute you can buy all your necessary wedding clothing and accessories. This will be a huge mistake. You won’t have time to finalize what you are going to wear on your wedding day. Make sure you have done your trial runs at least 1-2 weeks before the wedding. Try some ready made lehengas or ghagras instead of getting some customized wedding dress made before your D-day. Once you decide what you will wear, finalize your jewelry. Also, do have a trial run with your makeup artist after wearing your wedding dress. This will help you save the last minute arguments or tensions.
