So, there has to be a clear communication from your conscious to your mouth or body so that you understand that saying no to your body is important. That way you will stop yourself from heading towards something that is fatty and harmful for you. So, make a game and challenge yourself to it. It is important that you set an appropriate weight proportion and challenge yourself to achieve it. Keep yourself will be the most motivated thing when you stick to your diet plan. Being motivated is not easy at all. I accept that! But, have a goal and march towards that. You can keep anything as your goal. May be stuff like – Your marriage, your sister’s wedding or your birthday party. Keep at least 4 months of goal and go ahead with that. When you start to keep a track on how much you want to lose, you will keep a track on how much more you have to lose. That is how you keep yourself motivated and pumped up. This is one of the best ways to stick to your diet plan.

Remember that more than physical strength, it is important to be mentally strong. When you feel like cheating yourself, you need to say ‘NO’ aloud so that you understand that you are doing something against your body’s wish. You have to keep telling yourself loud out that you are determined and eating or binging on something that you are not supposed to be doing is a crime. The best way to keep yourself mentally strong is making sure you see signs of sticking to your plan where you go. You can stick a couple of sticky notes wherever you go regularly and write motivating quotes like ‘Don’t give up’, ‘A moment on the lips, is felt on the hips’, ‘Good going, stick to your diet’, etc. That way you will know that you are not supposed to cross that and you will mentally be strong.

Nobody can go on a diet marathon or nobody can be a strict person like that. Everybody needs a day to relax, a day to revive and definitely a day to make sure that they are not turning into a robot. That day is called the cheat day. This is the day when you can definitely take the liberty to eat anything you want. Since you will be on a diet from the very next day, you can keep Sunday as your cheat day where you can eat the things you have wanted to eat during the entire week. Well, that doesn’t mean you stuff yourself with everything possible when it comes to Sunday. You need to make sure you take the right amount of carbs, vitamins and proteins, otherwise, your body will get damaged in this process of dieting. So, make sure your cheat day is well utilized.

But if you are very serious about the diet, then plan for something that you stick. Something like – If you lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks, you can have a 2 days of cheat day. That way you will be motivated to lose more weight and stick to your plan.

4Have a buddy for support

If you have someone for support or someone who can diet with you, then there is nothing better than that. This is important because, if you diet alone, it will look more like a problem than a solution. So, if you have a buddy, you will be able to pick up the pace and do things faster and better. So, have a person who can support you in the entire process and be your shoulder. You could be his or her shoulder.

So, mix tasty and healthy and eat according to your wish. But that also doesn’t mean you can stuff yourself with cheese and junk. Yes, there will be a lot of temptations around you, you just need to control that and get going. There is no use if you break your beautiful diet that you have been surviving for so many months.
