In the 90s two things were quite popular i.e rebel-tattoos and helix piercing. Everyone use to get helix piercing done at least once. This piercing is extremely painful. 4Transverse Lobe Piercing

Transverse Lobe Piercing is also known as horizontal lobe piercing. It is done on the ear’s lobe horizontally. This type of piercing is normally done with a barbell. One has the option to choose whichever angle they want. This type of piercing takes more time to heal. You need to properly clean the pierced area with a saline solution, at least twice a day.

Conch Inner Piercing is done at the center of the ear’s cartilage which means exactly at the center of the ear. There are two types, i.e inner conch piercing and outer conch piercing. When using earphones be careful. A conch piercing is done by making a hole in the ear cartilage. The most popular one is the inner conch piercing. It is also said that this type of piercing helps in healing of asthma.The healing time for this is at least 8-16 weeks.

6Industrial Piercing

Industrial Piercing

Industrial Piercing is also known as Scaffold Piercing. In this type, two piercings are done i.e on the cartilages and the helix in the upper part of ear facing opposite to each other. After that, a horizontal wire is passed through both the piercings and they are connected. Normally, the earring is in the shape of an arrow. The healing time for this is at least 3-12 months.

7Tragus Piercing

Tragus piercing is done at the little fleshy part of the ear canal. Some people might get irritated while wearing anything at this position mostly if you are using earphones. It is one of the most infamous piercings as there are high chances of infections and irritation. The healing time for this is at least 8-16 weeks.

8Antitragus Piercing

Antitragus Piercing is done at the inner ear cartilage across the tragus. It is same like tragus, but not prone to stretching or irritation. One can wear a sleek ring and look good. The healing time for this is at least 8-16 weeks.

9Snug Piercing

Snug Piercing is also known as Anti-helix piercing. The piercing is done at the inner cartilage. It is not common as only micro-jewellery can be used. 13Orbital Piercing

Orbital piercing is almost like industrial piercing but the difference is that the jewelry does not join the holes horizontally but instead from the front. Normally, a circular or heart shaped ring looks perfect.

14Graduate Lobe Piercing

Graduate Lobe Piercing

In this kind of piercing, three or more piercings are done on the lobe at a certain distance from each other. One needs earrings of different sizes to put on. One can use hoops or twinkling gems.
